JD: Business Analyst Profile
The individual will be responsible for Insurance domain research, Requirements gathering, analysis and specification of the requirements for Insurance solutions. The individual will be working closely with technical team and the customer in developing insurance solutions using SEEC Business Components
Education and Experience Requirements
• BE/MBA or equivalent
• Requirement Research & Analysis for transformation into specification
for Insurance Solutions
• Good understanding of Insurance Domain and Project experience
• Ability to work with business users of customers managing
expectations of customer in specification
• Interact closely with the technical lead and pre-sales to transfer
the specification
• Documentation of business requirements using Use cases
• Activity/Sequence diagrams to create process and data flows
• Good analytical skills
• Work closely with teams to translate business requirements to
technical solutions
• UML modeling knowledge and should have experience in preparing use
case, activity and sequence diagrams
• Understanding of XML, Review of Design and planning of test cases
• Functional testing during the integration testing phase of the
project/product release
• Competitive analysis – package vendors, component vendors and other
emerging technology vendors that may be in insurance product/solution
line.
• Participate in defining product strategy, preparing product road map
and plans
• Responsible for understanding customer priorities, product values
business processes and defining product features that will enhance
user experience
• Customer facing experience in requirements gathering
• Strong presentation, documentation, communication and organization
skills
Desirable Skills
• Experience in US Insurance Industry
• Exposure to Insurance Industry standards like ACORD, IBM IAA
• Experience in designing Web User Interface (storyboards) and
reviewing the storyboards
• Experience in using tools like Rational XDE, Microsoft VISIO, Dream
weaver
• Certifications like FLMI, AIII, INS, CPCU preferred
• Team management experience
• Project Implementation experience
• Training experience

Job Description:
•Should have a thorough knowledge of Non-Life or Life Insurance and Annuity Products, Process Flow etc.
•Ability to understand the real business need through GAP analysis, business process analysis and interactive working sessions with our clients cause analysis capabilities.
•Ability to analyze and document end to end business requirements through, Business Process Maps, Use Cases, Mockups, Prototypes, Data Dictionaries, and Business Domain Models.
•Ability to conduct and facilitate system testing, quality assurance testing, user acceptance testing, and user training sessions as needed to support functional and maintenance releases.
