Role purpose:
A DevOps Engineer works with various departments to create and develop systems within a company. From creating and implementing systems software to analysing data to improve existing ones, a DevOps Engineer increases productivity in the workplace.

Key accountabilities for the DevOps engineer are:
Utilize various open source technologies (Jenkins, Ansible, Nexus, Bitbucket)
Use various tools to orchestrate solutions (Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker)
Build independent web based tools, microservices and solutions
Write scripts and automation using Perl/Python/Groovy/Java/Bash/Shell
Configure and manage data sources like MySQL,Oracle, Mongo, Elasticsearch, Redis, Cassandra, Hadoop, etc
Understand how various systems work
Understand how IT operations are managed
Manage source control including SVN and GIT
Working in close alignment with diverse teams to implement solutions to automate and orchestrate solutions
Required overall & relevant work experience, skills, technical/domain knowledge, Customer handling, Geographical exposure.

You possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
DevOps Engineer with expertise in AMDOCS integration ??? (Is this needed?)
You have 5-7 years' experience as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent software-engineering role in middleware technologies covering TIBCO ESB and ASG
You are an expert in code deployment tools (Jenkins, Nexus, Github, Selenium, Bitbucket).
You can maintain Java web applications.
You have experience in network, server, and application-status monitoring, linux administration.
You possess a strong command of software-automation production systems (Jenkins/Selenium).
You exhibit expertise in software development methodologies.
You have working knowledge of Ruby or Python and known DevOps tools like Git and GitHub.
