Job Description:
- The primary roles of this position are twofold: to act as the "technical advocate" for the business and act as the primary intermediary between the business and the technology delivery team. By applying expertise in technology, business processes and general business knowledge, will promote a culture of superior client service and flawless project delivery. This role will serve as primary lead for coordinating discovery, scope, estimates and business case development for new engagements.
- Additionally, the role will provide technical expertise and leadership to a team dedicated to hardware/software/network technologies design and build activities (may be comprised of internal and/or vendor/contractor resources) in a project management role. Ensure activities are completed, validated, align with architectural objectives and requirements, and successfully deploy into the production environment. Provide mentorship to team ensuring optimization of designs/solutions. Create, document and manage processes and procedures that govern Engineering and Operations. Provide troubleshooting for development and test environment issues. Financial accountability indirect expense of $500K-5M.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage domain and analyst practice expertise to provide the most effective solutions to the business partners in the most efficient means possible - including selecting the appropriate analysis techniques and tools (process modeling, use cases, etc.) for each project or assignment.
- Deliver successful project outcomes. Manage and complete all support documentation on assigned projects, including creating and updating all technical procedures/manuals, operational support documentation and archival of all related project documentation.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with technology teams and business partners at management and end user levels.
- Leverage existing or new tools and create repeatable processes and procedures to satisfy Security, Risk and Compliance requirements for the Global Network Services practice as well as authoring Engineering and Operational processes.
- Execute procedures in compliance with processes to maintain compliance with documented requirements.
- Leverage Technical Control Framework to ensure Global Network Services practices deliver the necessary controls to consistently and systematically meet requirements.
- Interface with Global Network Services' primary suppliers to ensure successful integration with the Technical Control Framework's processes and procedures.
- Ensure processes and procedure documentation for Engineering and Operations in the documentation repository is current and consistent.
