Your skills and experience
- Strong experience / expert on the database toolset of expertise and related toolsets.
- Strong technical understanding of infrastructure and various application architectures.
- Strong technical skills on AIX and Solaris, UNIX, Linux and Windows Platform.
- Strong process level understanding especially involving production environments. ITIL preferable.
- Experience in analysing requirement, understand design and providing estimates from a technical front.
- Expert scripting knowledge and expertise in varied scripting languages.
- Self starter, team-player, and requiring minimum oversight and guidance. A real "can do” attitude with high levels of resilience in high pressure situations.
Technical expertise:
Above 6 Years of DBA working knowledge of listed environments
- AIX Unix, Solaris, Windows and Linux Operating system
- ORACLE 10g and 11g database administration
- RAC (Oracle)
- ASM (Oracle)
- Oracle Golden Gate
- SQL / PL-SQL
- Unix shell scripting / Perl scripting
- Backup/Recovery
- Replication
- Database performance Tuning
- HACMP or other OS level HA solutions
