Strong knowledge in HANA, Installation/upgrade/backup/restore and troubleshooting.SAP Basis administration and technical core tasks including SAP software installation, upgrade, applying Support Packages (with SUM tool), patches, and fixes, installation of add-on software components, SAP profile parameter changes, workload analysis, system error analysis and establishing standard Basis background jobs and system health checks and monitoring
Hands-on experience on Oracle, MS SQL, Sybase administration
Maintain multi-landscape environments through environment copies, system refreshes, and transport management
Should be expertise in unix and Linux administration.Coordination and support the technical implementation of interfaces with the business users
Work with SAP to investigate and resolve software problems related to the application in a timely manner
Research, recommend, and apply new technologies
Strong knowledge on BOBJ, PI, Trex, BW, webdispatchers, GRC etc
Prepare and maintain system documentation, procedures, and standards Having knowledge on Solution Manager would be added advantage (Charm configuration, technical monitoring and Servicedesk)
Should have experience on working on multiple DBs and OS for SAP Basis supportExpertise in ABAP and JAVA stack both, should have good troubleshooting skills for day to day SAP Basis issues.Strong knowledge in SSO to configure across the landscape.
